Birds of the UH Campus
(the parallels between birds and humans)

As a society we often see the world as it best suits us. Its easy to block out all but what is important to our daily lives and ignore the rest. For the students of the University of Hawaii, they are constantly sharing their campus with that of the birds. In many ways the birds share the same struggles as the students do. In fact, parallels between the world in whiche the campus birds live and the world the students live can be seen every day. This is the basis for our story. Please join our journey on the University of Hawaii's diverse tropical campus as we view the 16 common campus birds as metaphores of the Hawaii student population.
