GOBY VISION

Goby Vision is something I have devised from a small spy cam setup. I watch the goby and shrimps daily activity patterns and try and quantify exactly what they are doing over the course of one day.

What I've found is that the pair actually does fluctuate its activity from the morning to the night, just like humans might. (I set it up in my house).

In the morning, the shrimp essentially begin digging and maintain their holes most of the day.

In the afternoon the shrimp don't dig (bulldoze) as frequently and instead spend a good proportion of their time looking for debris in the sediment surrounding the burrow.
