Goby Cam Fast Forward

This 'goby vision' camera was set up for half an hour. It was then condensed into 30 seconds.

It shows how the activity of the shrimp and goby relate to one another. The shrimp, for instance, are very very busy going in and out of the hole. The goby on the other hand usually stays outside the hole occasionally eating small organisms in the sand.

The flickering of the video is caused by the sun reflecting through the water. It clears up occasionally when a cloud passes overhead.

Notice how the goby will go into the hole, when a predator spooks it. This relationship was the primary purpose of my study.
