MENS |
What are the ants doing? The weaver ants are making a nest out of living leaves that are still on the tree. The leaves are curled into tubes. The ants then place their larva where the leaf edges connect. Acting as seamstresses, the larva stitch a silk that binds the leaves together. The adult ants will then live in the hollow spaces. |
